Learning Categories is a feature of Enable LMS that allows you to group your modules together and arrange them into categorised list of related learning, for example: Mandatory Training, Health and Safety or Safeguarding Training. This will be seen in the Available Learning tab on a learner account. If you do not have access to this in your Enable LMS, please get in touch with our Customer Service team.
Creating Learning Categories
Select Content Creation then Categories and Create. Give your category a title and Submit. Select Add Learning and choose the modules that you would like to add into the category and Confirm. The modules will then appear in a list, which you can reorder if you are not happy with the order that they appear. Tick a module you would like to move and select Reorder. Select the place in the list you would like the module to appear and then Confirm.
Once you are happy with your list, select Show at the top of the page. This will now appear in your learner’s Available Learning page on their account.
If you make multiple categories, you can reorder these from the Categories page. Tick the category you would like to move and select Reorder. Select the place in the list you would like the category to appear and then Confirm.
To hide a category from the Available Learning page, go to Content Creation and Categories, tick the category you wish to remove and select Hide. You can also remove a category by ticking a category and select Delete.
