Once you have made a learner inactive, you can reclaim any unused licences from their learner record to distribute to other users in the LMS. There are two ways you can do this, either by removing the course from their learner record directly or through the Allocations page:

Removing Courses from their Learner Record

Select Users from the Admin dashboard and then Active Users.

Select the ‘Filter’ button on the right-hand side of the search bar at the top of the list of users and a lightbox will appear on screen. Select ‘Inactive Only’ from the User Status tab and then ‘Apply Filters’. The list of inactive learners will now show on screen. Select on the user you would like to remove the training from, and you will be taken into their learner record.

Select ‘View All Learning’ and a full list of the learner's courses will appear. Select the checkbox of any courses that are not started you would like to remove and select ‘Delete’. This will add the licence back into your total amount. Please note you are only able to remove courses that are not started. Any courses that have been started or fully completed cannot be reclaimed.

Removing courses through Allocations

From the admin dashboard, select Allocations and then Learning. Select the course you would like to remove from a learner record, and you will be taken into a full list of who this course is currently allocated to.

Select the Filter button on the right hand side of the search bar and a lightbox will appear on screen. Select the ‘Include Inactive’ checkbox and ‘Apply Filters’ at the bottom of the lightbox to only show the inactive learners on screen. Tick the learner you wish to remove the not started course from and select ‘Delete’ at the top of the list. This will add the licence back into your total amount. Please note you are only able to remove courses that are not started. Any courses that have been started or fully completed cannot be reclaimed.
