If you are an LMS Administrator, or have certain LMS administration roles, when you log into your account, you will be taken to the Admin Dashboard. This is where you can manage your Enable LMS, such as users, courses, events and reports. Exactly what functionality you have will depend your agreement with Virtual College.

The admin view is made up of the user actions area along the top, and the main menu down the side of the page.

User Actions

The user actions area contain four buttons: help, your system notifications, messages from other users, and your user profile. 

Help

This will take you to the Virtual College Help Centre; where you are at now.

Notifications

Any notifications from the system, such as being allocated a course or booked onto an event will populate here. The indicator will display the number of outstanding notifications. Selecting this button will show a preview of the latest notifications. You can view them all by selecting 'view notifications' button which will take you to the full list. For notifications which are actionable, you can select them and be taken to the place where you can undertake that task. For example, confirming certificate details or confirming your attendance to an event.

Messages

Any messages you receive from other Enable LMS users will populate here. Any message you select will take you to the messages section, where you can read the message and respond. The indicator shows the number of unread messages. You can also select 'view all messages' to be taken to your messages list.

Personal Profile

Selecting the personal profile will show a drop down with the following options:

  • Notes, where you can review and personal learning notes you have written
  • Staff, if you are designated as a line manager for any other users, you will see them here
  • Job Roles, if you have been assigned any Job Role you will be taken to them
  • Assignments, if you have been given any assignments to complete or mark, they will be listed here
  • Account, where you can manage your personal account settings, such as your user details or settings
  • Log out, to sign out of the Enable LMS
  • User, this will take you to the User dashboard where you can complete any courses, events, etc. that you might have yourself

Admin Main Menu

The admin main menu is always present as you navigate through the Admin area of your Enable LMS. From here you can select:

  • Dashboard, return back to your dashboard home
  • Admin Actions, review any actions for your LMS
  • Users, manage your users, review new user requests
  • Groups, set up and organise your learner groups
  • Content Creation, manage any modules, audits, job roles or assignments
  • Allocations, administer the giving out of your modules, audits, job roles or assignments
  • Reporting, generate reports on the actions in your Enable LMS
  • Events, manage Events you have created in your Enable LMS
  • Settings, configure any of the system wide settings for your Enable LMS

Tiles

Your Admin Dashboard is made up of a number of tiles. You can use to these access the relevant sections of the Admin area of your Enable LMS.
