Self-Registration allows users to register into your organisations Enable LMS. If you require the self-registration functionality, please get in touch with your Account Manager at Virtual College.

Administrators can:

  1. Allow users to register themselves into your Enable LMS.
  2. Decide what personal information needs to be collected about the users registering.
  3. Either allow users to automatically be set up in the domain or have to wait until an administrator approves the request.
  4. Allow users to select a group.

Users can:

  1. Register to become part of the organisations learning area.
  2. Select the group they wish to be associated with.

Setting up your Self-Registration

Once the feature is enabled, you can configure your self-registration to meet your needs. Select 'Settings' from your main dashboard and then 'Self-Registration' from the drop-down list. You will be presented with the following options:

Remove Self-Registration Link from the Login page

By default, there is a link on your login page that takes the learner to the registration page. If you do not wish for this to appear you can tick this option. Please note, that users can still navigate directly to the register page.

Self Registration request do not require approval

By default, all new registration requests will need approval by an LMS Administrator, or by a User with the specific Admin role to approve requests. If you tick this box, you can also have the further option of having to approve users who did not select from the available list of groups.

Enable Group Selection

If you organise your users by groups, you can let them select which group they should be in when they register. The following options will be presented to you.

Group Selection Mandatory:

If you want learners to select a group before they register then you can select the mandatory option.

Enable "My group is not listed" option:

This allows users to select that the group they require is not there and they can enter a group name that they think is correct for them.

Welcome Message
